What Kind of Candidate are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing design and Architectural/Structural, construction related backgrounds with a strong technical knowledge of Autodesk and other Design software, especially Autodesk Revit MEP. In-depth industry and software knowledge is a must.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of BIM Lead & and partly for BIM Engineer
- Revit MEPF modeling.
- As-built modeling from point clouds.
- Lead a team of BIM modelers. Delegate/Manage /Coordinate project deliveries.
- Manage and coordinate with project team members.
- Set project schedules and lead multiple projects concurrently.
- Monitor project deliverables and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead Clash coordination meetings for clients using Navisworks and Glue.
- Manage TechnoStruct’s extensive QA/QC process within the production teams.
- Provide over-the-shoulder training, developing, and shadowing to staff
- Facilitate integration of BIM technology with other applications (i.e., Construction, Cost Estimation, etc.)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Must have 1-5 years of experience in modeling and coordination.
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Professional registration (PE, RA, AIA, PMP, etc.) and industry accreditations (LEED AP, GISP) preferred.
- Hands-on on-site experience with MEP systems and BIM.
- Professional experience using and supporting Autodesk products, including Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willing to travel to client sites.
- Self-motivated with the desire to learn new software tools and workflows.
- Hands-on knowledge of design industry workflows and production cycles and project management software.
