Overview

Job description:  

  • Lead the planning, design, construction and maintenance of all projects. 
  • Conduct Due-diligence for properties identified for proposed development and provide feasibility analysis report.
  • Prepare master schedules for all projects including Resource Schedules, Execution methodologies, Milestones, Cash Flow projections and Budgets in coordination with planning engineer & QS 
  •  Providing value-adds inputs to the Management for finalization of design with respect to layouts, finishes, technical specifications etc., based on agreed budget and timelines.

Project Control & team management 

  • Develop and implement process flow chart for systems and processes governing project execution. 
  • Develop clear, straightforward plans that stimulate the teams to reach their full potential 
  • Lead and Track project deliverables with departmental managers using appropriate tools & provide direction and support to project team on issues relating to the project 
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans 
  • Set the deadlines, initiate trouble shooting and ensure the achievements from the team members toward the execution of the projects.
  • Frequently review the budget and plan ahead to avoid massive budget overruns. 
  • Meticulously identify and evaluate potential risks arising in the projects and find means to avoid risks in order to minimize their impact
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of the project in terms of quality, time, cost; including Quantity Surveying and Billing of the project. 
  • Make decisions to initiate resources and ensure the key resources including adequately trained and qualified staff are made available to allow the project to progress smoothly. 
  • Ensure that all the legal & statutory obligations of the Company at the Project sites are complied with 
  • Ensure that the systems and processes of the company are strictly followed 

Site & Construction Management 

  • Supervise all construction activities, providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities including HSE management. 
  • Interact with Contractors, Purchasers and Suppliers for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories, material with timely delivery so as to minimise project cost. 
  • Implement QA / QC procedures, Prepare Method Statements including inspection and test plans. 
  • Conduct Quality / Safety Audits to ensure adherence to Quality and Safety norms across the entire course of project execution. 
  • Monitor and Analyze both expenditures and team performance efficiently and take corrective measures wherever required, from the inception till the completion of Projects. 
  • Managing reports and necessary documentation. 
  • Review and approve technical documentation, such as drawings and specifications, etc., for civil engineering projects. 
  • Manage and present detailed project reports and project execution plans to the Management regarding project evaluation in terms of outlays and profits attached. 
  • Maintain effective communication at different levels in the system in order to minimize uncertainty 
  • Record and document all project related innovative methods or techniques adopted along-with the cost savings enabled as a result of the same for all the projects. 
  • Implement and monitor site registers and all necessary checklists at site

  • Should have extensive exposure in handling multiple projects at a time. 
  • Should be a person with highest level of personal integrity and superior interpersonal skills 
  • Should possess demonstrated track record of conflict resolution and a can-do attitude will be an ideal candidate 
  • Should have excellent project management and analytical skills. 
  • Should be system oriented and technology savvy professional 
  • Should be capable of Quantity Estimation and hand on planning with capacity to work on MSP. 
  • Should have the ability to work closely with senior management to provide strategic inputs Should have working experience in PMC companies with excellent client management capabilities. 
  • Should have an overall experience of 15 yrs. of which 4-5 years at leadership level 
  • Qualification: 
  • BE/ME in Civil
